GPT-6.1 Terra scores 62.0 at max, its best result and the one that places it 3rd of 18 on the Index. It cleared both interactive ladders, but stopped short in one-shot and left the 4×4 Gauntlet locked.
The 2×2 ladder ended with all 3 lives intact. On the 3×3 interactive ladder, misses at levels 5 and 7 left one life, which it kept through level 20. Its level 14 solution used 115 moves against a 14-move scramble, 101 moves longer. The one-shot round ended after a miss at level 9: it gave up on the next cube with 2 lives left. It said, "Reached level 8 of 20; gave up at level 9." That round took about 27 min without reaching halfway up the ladder.
The suite took about 1 h 15 min, the longest of our runs at any effort. Our other max runs took about 58 min and 1 h 6 min; xhigh took about 10 min and scored lower. API-equivalent costs are unavailable for these runs.
Cleared all 11 levels with all 3 lives left, using 187 moves in 10 min 14 s. The first 5 solutions matched their scramble lengths; every later cube took between 25 and 36 moves. Levels 6 and 7 accounted for 4 min 32 s, while the final 4 cubes each took 42 s or less. The longest solution came at level 10: 36 moves, 26 more than the scramble, completed in 35 s.
Cleared all 20 levels at max with 1 life left. Level 14 took 115 moves against a 14-move scramble, but still finished in 92 s. Both misses came from reaching the move limit, at levels 5 and 7; after the second miss, it solved every remaining cube. The slowest solve was the level 5 retry: 6 min 33 s and 57 moves, just 3 moves below the cap.
At max, it reached level 8 of 20, then gave up on level 9 with 2 lives left. The first 6 solutions matched the scramble lengths, but levels 7 and 8 took 67 and 96 moves, together accounting for just over half the round’s 27 min 23 s. Level 8 used its entire move allowance and still solved the cube. Its only miss came next: a 104-move answer left level 9 unsolved, and it gave up on the fresh cube without submitting any moves.
